ACCOMPLISHMENTS (Partial listings): We have seen firsthand that music and the arts are tangible tools for academic and professional success because they teach and foster camaraderie and cooperation, mutual respect, focus, concentration, and self-discipline; they also promote individuality and creative self-expression, as well as increase self confidence and self awareness!

  • Matt Doyle – accepted to at least (4) programs (London Academy of Dramatic Arts, Cincinnati, Carnegie Mellon, Manhattan Marymount); summer study program, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU; Will be attending London Academy of Dramatic Arts and Carnegie Mellon.

  • Kathryn Hart –Musical Theatre major, Catholic University (Benjamin T. Rome Music School)- Washington DC (April 2005 appearance at The Kennedy Center)

  • Annie Nelson - Selected for the NYU Tisch School of Performing Arts Summer program in Ireland for summer 2005.
  • Lia Peros - Accepted to NYE Tisch School of Performing Arts
  • Brennan Whitaker - Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). LIPA was founded by Paul McCartney. Annually LIPA accepts only 30 incoming students world-wide for the Performing Arts Music degree program.
  • Tahira Wyche - young Nala in the Broadway tour of The Lion King.
  • Elvy Yost - selected for the NYU Tisch School of Performing Arts Summer program 2005 in New York.
  • Many of our students have appeared in school and community theater productions throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Several students have auditioned and have been accepted into the world-renown summer Theater Arts Institute (TAI) offered by the American Musical Theater, San Jose.
  • Over half of the students under 21 participated in the SFAPA production “Broadway Babies” which was presented at several venues in the area.

  • Anna Bergman– Korean tour of Fame; leading role in Beach Blanket Babylon, San Francisco
  • Jennifer Cantorna–understudy to principal (Sophie) in “Mama Mia”
  • Matt Doyle- Broadway cast of "Spring Awakenings"- ensemble/ u/s Melchior
  • Omi Fernandez– “Miss Saigon” (Kim), national tour
  • Kristi Frank–recently signed by Sony Records
  • Dani Marcus–Recipient of the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Beggar's Holiday, Marin Theatre Company and Allegro Theatre Company; Former lead role (Snow White) in Beach Blanket Babylon, San Francisco.
  • Jessica Raaum-Recipient of the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Annie Get Your Gun
  • Sarah Smithton-Recipient of the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Annie (Mountain Play).  Placed 8th in national "Wicked" competition
  • Titus West–cast as dancer in the movie version of “Rent”, now filming in San Francisco; “Dream Girls” (Western tour)
  • Erwin UrbiMiss Saigon American Musical Theatre of San Jose. National Tour of Dreamgirls, Ragtime by Theatre Works.
